SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

Simple present tense, describe things happens in present time, in a simple way or things that done regularly, repeatedly or daily habit

Formula : S+ to be+ Complement
               S+Verb1+Complement

Formation - Word order (Affirmative statement)
I/we/you/they + verb > I leave home at 8 a.m
He/she/it+verb (s/es/ies) > She leaves home at 8 a.m

Formation -  Word Order (Negative statement)
I/we/you/they+do not+verb > I don’t leave home at 8 a.m
He/she/it > She leaves home at 8 a.m

Formation – Word order (interrogative statements)
Do+I/we/you/they+verb? : Do I leave home at 8 a.m?
Does+He/she/it+verb? : Does She leaves home at 8 a.m?                   

There are some classification :
1.    Permanent or long time situation : stated circumstances that stays the same and has been going on for a long time
Shows explanation such as status, gender, age, etc
(+) I work as a reporter
(-) I don’t work as a photographer

2.      Facts : truth that cannot be argued
Shows reality : event or to happen
(+) She is friendly
(-) She is not arrogant

3.      Regular activities and routines : Show things that done because of habits

4.    Opinions and state of mind : a conclusion that made because there is issue or topic that becomes a debate
Shows opinion : I agree, I advise, should

5.     Feelings : stated likes and dislikes
Shows word : Like, dislike, comfortable,
